Our homes are built to your specification an are based upon your vision. We build them to your specification which means whilst you are free to use our sample designs, you can design your own, or adapt one of our samples to suit you.

Timber framed homes are designed to provide an inexperienced home and cottage builder with a package that is easy to assemble, in a short time with the lowest possible cost. Whilst this option is less expensive than the solid timber constructions, luxurious homes are available that look stunning and offer the utmost in comfort. Combined with modern window designs, this style of home provides an abundance of light and air. Whilst these cabins are easy to build, we appreciate that you may wish for them to be built for you, this is not a problem, at Timbercraft UK we cater for your needs as much as possible.

The finish can be tailored for many different looks. All types of sidings are available form, vinyl, cedar, pine and pine log sidings. You can also finish the homes with brick, stucco or stone as you wish, we will just credit the siding materials.

This option is economical, and gives a traditional timber home look and feel. The options available to you are almost endless with regards to size, finish, style etc. If log homes aren't your thing, then this may be the option for you.

Timber Framed Home Preferences


Having a home that you can count as ideal is about making choices that suit you. That is why we offer a whole host of options. You may see a design that you like the look of, and there is nothing to stop you sending us a picture or a copy of a design for us to build from.

The choices available don't stop at the type of timber used, the shape, size etc. You also have a choice of how much you do. For example, you may wish for us to supply your home as a flat pack kit that can be assembled by you or a competent carpenter. You may also wish that we supply and build.

Please discuss any preferences that you have with us and we can arrange a deal that will delight you.

Prices

As a rough guide our prices for this type of cabin tend to be £25.00 per sq. ft. for our self build option or £40.00 per sq. ft. for the supply and erection. These prices include all duties and taxes. An exact quote can only be made once the final drawings are made.
