Q.
Are your homes
energy efficient?
A. Yes. Log homes are among
the most energy efficient forms of construction.
The thermal capacitance of log materials does
not allow for the easy transfer of heat from one
side of the log wall to the other. This means
that your home is warmer in the winter, but also
cooler in the summer.

extreme cold?

some of the harshest environments in the world.
They are able to withstand extremes in heat with
ease.

Q.
How much does a
log home cost?
A. The cost of a home is based
upon the size and complexity of the design. It
is also based upon the materials used. A simple
building is quick to build and is easier,
therefore you would expect to pay less than if
it was a complex design. To obtain an estimate
or a quote please contact us with your plans and
we can discuss the pricing further. As a rough
guide we estimate our prices as follows: For
rolled or milled timber homes, £35.00 per sq.
ft. for self build, and £50.00 per sq. ft. for
supply and erection. For timber framed with
cladding buildings, £25.00 per sq. ft. self
build or £40.00 per sq. ft. for supply and
erection. These prices are for estimating only
and the final price depends upon your final
design and amount of homes being built. Included
in our prices is all taxes and duties, shipping
etc.
